Nylon Anchor Straps
We supply nylon anchor straps with all our "heavy-weight" rectangular trampolines. The anchor strap is a long strip of strong, moulded nylon with a hole at either end. This wraps around the top rail of the trampoline and the springs hook into the two holes rather than hooking directly into the frame of the trampoline. The advantage is that they eliminate the necessity to drill into the frame, reducing wear on the frame, wear on the spring hook and also reducing the noise (as there is no contact between the metal of the spring and the frame). In the event of a heavy landing close to the edge of the trampoline, the anchor strap becomes sacrificial and saves on the cost of replacing the more expensive part - the spring.
