I have seen other trampolines with nets that go around the outside of the trampoline frame pads. Does this allow extra bouncing space

Absolutely not!! The nets on our trampoline safety enclosures are suspended on elasticated bungys so that the trampolinist is kept away from all hard surfaces. If the net goes all the way around the outside it doesn't give you more bouncing area it just allows the bouncer to land on or walk on the frame pads which can actually cause a hazzard and lead to premature wear of the trampoline spring and spring covers. We can think of no safety benefits for putting the safety net around the outside of the trampoline enclosure. It does however save on manufacturing costs!
